Meet Milwaukee! Milwaukee came to the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center to help build his confidence around new people and places. He’s a laid-back guy who prefers to relax and enjoy the good things in life like pets and treats. A comfy couch and a bully stick would be his idea of a perfect day—well, that and finding an adoptive home!

Big fan of: Snacks! Milwaukee loves tasty treats and chews and a comfortable place to enjoy them. He likes to chase and play with soft, squeaky toys. Milwaukee likes other dogs but would prefer a social, confident dog who will give him space as he gets comfortable.

Working on: His confidence. Milwaukee can be nervous and fearful around new people and new places. He may take a little while to settle into a new home, so a patient adopter who is willing to give him time to settle and get comfortable over the first few weeks will be important. Milwaukee recently received heartworm treatment and will be on reduced activity for a short while.

Dream Home: Milwaukee would love to go to a home with someone who shares his love of tasty snacks and comfortable places to relax. If you’re thinking of having a snuggle buddy to watch your favorite shows in bed; he’s your guy. He enjoys a good game of tug with his favorite toys and the occasional romp with a social, confident dog.
